The Chitawon Construction and Engineering Company Nepal (P) Ltd., also known as Chitawon Co-E Nepal (P) Ltd., is a group of companies founded by our Late Chairman, Laxman Babu Shrestha in 1966. The Late Chairman’s first construction project was conceived in Chitawon District from where the company derives its name. Initially established as a civil construction business, the company was promoted to Class ‘A’ contractor category in 1978.
At present, the company has diversified its activities through other subsidiaries in Cable Car, Hydropower, Trading, Dairy, Tourism and related services, Real Estate and Investment in the Banking Sector. A true visionary and nationalist, our company continues to embody the Late Chairman’s mission to invest and develop in different sectors of the country.
